Designed to teach students how to recognize melody, tempo, and pitch in music and how to reproduce a musical selection using all these elements together in a performance while developing control. Performance is a major component in all the classes offered.

Various interpretations of selections are explored taking into account the richness of the cultures of the world. Students may learn Italian arias, classical pieces in Latin, as well as learning contemporary music as seen on popular television and on Broadway.

Ages 7 to 17 years.
